Aithon Robotics in the Heart of Innovation

Through the “Embodied Intelligence” program hosted by Swissnex, Aithon Robotics was able to immerse in the silicon valley. The biggest highlight was the AI Insiders event, which allowed Co-Founder Roman Dautzenberg to pitch our vision of safe and efficient work-at-height to an excited crowd of investors and startup-enthusiasts. On other days, visits to leading AI and robotics companies gave insights into how the future of robotics may look, with panel discussions and meetings with potential clients and investors rounding off the experience.

How does this shape our future path?

The United States are a huge potential market for our operations, with over 600’000 bridges and a growing robotics inspection industry. Increases in infrstructure spending and ageing assets, alongside with specific events, such as bridge collapses or power outages have made the US market ripe for disruptive technologies. In other sectors, the rapid adoption speed of robots in the US has allowed for faster breakthroughs and more value generated. Aithon Robotics is ready to capture this ongoing transition in the infrastructure sector. The gathered experience allows us to understand better what it takes to succeed in this highly dynamic market. The connections made will greatly improve and accelerate our development in months to come.

Swissnex: The innovation outpost of Switzerland

The program was enabled through Swissnex in San Francisco, whos mission to “connect the dots” was able to shine through the many hosted events, qualified introductions and company visits organized. Alongside Aithon Robotics, selected robotics researchers and startups participated in the “Embodied Intelligence” week, with valuable connections being made in Waymo-rides, early coffees and late-night-pizzas. Thanks to the entire team for supporting Swiss entrepreneurship and giving Aithon Robotics such unique opportunities!
